Insta What? Life Lately..

May, wowza.. you've been a trip...between busy schedules, my sister's film festival and holidays... it's been a roller coaster of a month.. May always seems to be that for us and every year we are like "wow, life is crazy"...  Here's a bit on what's been happening on the good ol Instagram....

• Capturing the moment when my hair, makeup and chins are all in the right place... #selfie
• Husband smuggled Jelly Bellies out of his office for me... #reallove
• That's my gorgeous sister on the big screen, yeah she's a pretty big deal... she's also a director in which she entered a short film she made for a school project and it won both of the two awards given! Gosh, I am one proud sis... 
• It wouldn't be summer without a date with Aloe Vera.. we've been good friends since like forever... #redheadproblems #sunburned
• Baseball! Go A's!
• Oprah is now on the sleeves at Starbucks? Who knew...
• My gorgeous sister and I perfecting our duck face... slam dunk if you ask me...
• Nails!

Insta What? My selfie obsession...

 I realized that I do a lot of selfies.... well that's awkward.. Somehow I've only had time for Instagram lately... a thousand apologies... life as usual is taking president.. oh well.. 

Here's a little run down on my IG pics lately doing it's very best to make my life extremely interesting when  usually it's a mixture of laundry, work & starting the dishwasher... 

Left to right...

- When the photographer says "now pose, do anything, even be awkward" Awkward you say? nailed it...

- "We're driving Cadilacs in our dreams"... singing in the car to Royals by Lorde.

- A recipe book all about Mac N Cheese... #heaven

-That time when the coffee pot broke..

- Being together... bliss..

- It was a hard day and chocolate was needed pronto...

- Cue hipster glasses selfie..again with the selfies, I've got a problem.

- Gift from bestie, even the cocktail napkins speak your language...

- Best clam chowder in all the San Francisco Bay Area, The Boat House in Bodega Bay... to die for!

- My husband, too cool for school...

- Why don't we just call this one, good hair day... #selfie insert, an "oh brother" & eye roll here...

- Makeup bag magic.. Loving Tarte right now!

Insta What? Life lately....

 Seth and I totally took a spontaneous day trip to the Jelly Belly Factory! We are the only ones I know who decide to "go off" sugar and then take a free tour of the Jelly Belly Factory...otherwise known as sugar heaven... and if you ask me now how the whole sugar fast is going.. I don't want to talk about it... #fail .. I mean what kind of wierdos go get a tour of the best candy known to man and not get samples! Seriously there are standards that must not be broken!

Stretched out my leopard print flats with socks? Why yes I did! Thanks Pinterest for the uber glamorous tip! You all are now super jealous of my wicked awesome style.. cuz nothin says fashionista like socks with shoes.... 

After looking through most of my Instagram photos, the thought occurred to me, wow do I like my beverages... you wouldn't want to ever get thirsty...  Between wine tasting with friends, outfit planning, a concert and trying to keep my plant alive... still going strong ..#crossingmyfingers... Insta What? & Five to Ten Things....

Selfie aka..good hair day, lunch, Hot Tameles, where I work....

My husband doing the duck face, going for a walk, The Bucks, Our besties..

Five, six or ten things you don't know about me... mostly all of them embarrassing....

• I'm only 5'1... that's wicked short for everyone that doesn't know... and I need help reaching things at the back of my top cupboards... It looks a little pathetic...
• When I was 17, I wrote, directed and starred in the lead role of Anne of Green Gables play... SUPER embarrassing now but at the time I was a rock star... and yes I can quote the movie in my sleep.
• I like to sing...my neighbors are quite aware of this fact...cleaning the bathroom and Mariah Carey go so well together...
• I pretty much hate going to the fitting room when shopping... if I can avoid it I will... Who can blame me when the lighting in there makes you look like you've got 5 chins instead of 2? Old Navy I'm looking at you.
• One time in my life I walked into a red pole at Walmart while I was waiving at a guy, everyone at the entrance noticed including the guy...the pole was just as tall as me.
• Sometimes when I can't remember how to spell some something I spell it incorrect on purpose so the "spell check" will show me the correct version... lazy? maybe.
• My favorite candy is Hot Tamales... they make me happy.
• I've got a slight addiction to sparkling water.. Ahh... Pellegrino... Perrier....Trader Joe's...
• I don't like to get out of bed in the morning until I know what I'm going to wear... it's a great mix of style and procrastination.
• Favorite movie... Fools Gold... I never get tired of it.. 

The rest of me will remain a mystery...

You know what's awesome?

Expecting a skirt to not be able to zip and miraculously it does...

Realizing that the skirt zipped but can you sit down? seriously questionable...

Doing a photo shoot with crazy wind... you expect it to look like model with a glamorous wind blown look but instead it looks like a dog who sticks its head out the car window...so hot..

Attending a wedding where everyone knows your husband but doesn't know you... annnddd.... I forgot deodorant (tmi?)...  I like to make a good impression..

Nearly avoiding a wardrobe malfunction involving the epic skirt and... that's all I'll say..

You know what's awesomer?

Holding my husband's hand during the ceremony and remembering our day... teary eyed..

Singing with my man to Mumford & Sons in the car... I can seriously rock out to some banjo..

Mimosas.. Getting your drink on before 5:00... Yes!

Being 5 inches taller... nuff said..

My husband's dance moves... epic... 

Ending the day with take out Chinese food and our favorite TV show... Can it get any more awesome?
