How Pinteresting!

I'm pretty sure there should be support groups for those *ahem* addicted to Pinterest..  I swear I'm on that site daily.. You know it's become a problem when, now instead of searching Google for a recipe or highly reviewed product.. or even a "how to".. I now search Pinterest.. yup that's right folks, you heard it here first.. Pinterest as replaced Google for me.. now don't get me wrong I still am a die hard Google fan.. I mean hello? My blog is on Blogger. But here's the thing if I am looking for a tutorial on how to on, I don't know.. " how not to kill houseplants".. not saying I've done that but let's just pretend that I've been known to kill a houseplant or two. I search Pinterest.. I find not only the blog post or site but many other useful information that could prevent any future houseplant casualties.. I've learned how to do minor HTML coding, I've learned how to curl my hair proper... I've found countless recipes, ahh-mazing fashion and just honest to goodness dreaming.... Are you looking for the best drugstore eyeliner? Bam! Pinterest. Are you looking for artwork for a baby's room? Pinterest it... yeah that's right, I made it a verb... So really in all honesty it's a practical help not a colossal waist of time.. see what I did there? Basically I'm all for whatever justifies my minor addiction that we call Pinterest.. This is just a few of what I've been finding in the candy land of Pinterest if you would like you can follow along here. 

Pinterest, Ebay, Stretchy Pants.. Oh My....

Oh Pinterest... how you seduce me... Life lately has been a whirlwind of  family time, overeating, stretchy pants and burning my tongue consistently on hot cocoa... It's the price I'm willing to pay for the Holidays! It's officially here, my favorite time of year... and these are some things I've pinned on my Pinterest lately... the hub of holiday and fashion inspiration....

Lately I can't get enough of slouchy sweaters and anything ski lodge related I mean isn't that picture of Audrey Hepburn divine? It's like a combo of all things awesome.. fashion, Audrey, snow & fabulousness...
I think love affair with all ski lodge things comes from being raised in NY and a winter without snow is just unheard of ...California fail... and even though I do not miss those 4 feet of snow winters.. for realz.. I do miss hearing the crunch of snow under my boots and stepping outside to hear the silence the falling snow makes... it's just magical... Also currently obsessed with any thing Christmassy, such as ice skating or plaid or a Christmas tree on top of a car... I cant resist it... Along with my Christmas obsession is flare jeans... for some reason right now I'm dying for a great pair of high wasted flares.. channel my inner Rachel Zoe... well kinda... Picture this, high wasted flares, red plaid button down, faux fur vest & wide brim floppy hat or just another slouchy sweater.. to hide the inevitable food baby.. I mean it's so perfect!

My trick for finding some great designer jeans is Ebay.. I have found some great deals on there and I always plan on getting alterations to ensure a good fit & length...I do not have any delusions about this, a 34 inch inseam isn't ever going to work... My tip for buying jeans on Ebay is (especially if your picky about the fit) buy only something that is in amazing condition and  in case it doesn't fit well,  you can re-sell... I bought a pair of JBrand jeans for a steal ($30 after alterations) but I wasn't certain on the fit.. so I planned on if they didn't fit I could re-coup some money back by selling to Plato's Closet (unaltered)... If that isn't an option for you or they simply wont give you enough money just pop them back on Ebay! Done and done! Personally I always calculate the shipping along with the cost of alterations added to the list price to determine if I'm getting a good deal... Then I also give myself a cap on bidding an easy way to do that is setting it with the auto bidder... It's really easy and it will keep track of your bids so you don't have to! And that's it, with those tips I'm sure you can find some seriously awesome denim for a bargain! Now I'm on the hunt for either some Hudson or JBrand high wasted flares... I know they are out there... Come to mama!

Insta What? Life lately....

 Seth and I totally took a spontaneous day trip to the Jelly Belly Factory! We are the only ones I know who decide to "go off" sugar and then take a free tour of the Jelly Belly Factory...otherwise known as sugar heaven... and if you ask me now how the whole sugar fast is going.. I don't want to talk about it... #fail .. I mean what kind of wierdos go get a tour of the best candy known to man and not get samples! Seriously there are standards that must not be broken!

Stretched out my leopard print flats with socks? Why yes I did! Thanks Pinterest for the uber glamorous tip! You all are now super jealous of my wicked awesome style.. cuz nothin says fashionista like socks with shoes.... 

After looking through most of my Instagram photos, the thought occurred to me, wow do I like my beverages... you wouldn't want to ever get thirsty...  Between wine tasting with friends, outfit planning, a concert and trying to keep my plant alive... still going strong ..#crossingmyfingers... Oh Pinterest ...I really like you...

Don't you think that whoever created Pinterest probably thought that chocolate covered pretzels were divine and that puppies make the world a better place... And that breakfast in bed heavenly .. I'm pretty sure that that they should be my friend, we would get along smashingly! Pinterest is probably hands down one of the funnest ways I waste time.. ;) Not to mention they just installed this new thing that alerts you when your about to Pin the same thing twice! Mind blown...

I find the most incredible recipes for food right around lunch time when my coffee and yogurt have sufficiently

worn off and I need a pinata cake like pronto..  Or some fabulous inspiration to my wardrobe (wouldn't be amazing if it actually ended up in my closet?) I would die! I mean how rockin is that leopard print clutch?? gosh..I pretty fairly certain I live out some form of dream while I'm pinning away! I want to travel? Done.. Pinned the Eiffel Tower.... I want to have kids someday? Done, pinned that ridiculously cute picture of a baby with puppies.. Want to cook amazing tasty food? Done.. Pinned that hazelnut crepe recipe.. Wanderlust: Where would you go?

Deviating from my usual fashion post to daydream a little bit with you... Sometimes I get the urge to travel and just in case it wasn't bad enough, hanging out on Pinterest took it to a "whole notha level".... I mean it's been ages since I used my passport.. too long actually.... Been thinking a lot about what I would do and where I would go if time or money wasn't an object...  It's a fun thought and usually I end up thinking about somewhere tropical... Bora Bora... is now on my radar... aah... white sand, crystal clear blue water... a fabulous tan...a girl can dream right?.... In my daydream there is lots of sundresses, wedge sandals, sunnies & swimwear....not to mention a few cocktails... So there is my daydream... dreaming of Bora Bora... Where would you go if time & money wasn't an object?
